This DVD was produced by the Swift (Aircraft) Association. It demonstrates the methods and materials required to polish aircraft. The Swift Association developed much of the basic polishing method that we use today. They were the first to use cotton fleece and the Cyclo polisher as the basic polishing tool and the first (in General Aviation) to recognize the superiority of Nuvite polish. We owe much to them. The DVD is professionally produced and has a wealth of information for polishing anything aluminum. Run time is 28 minutes.
This Old Trailer
This DVD was produced by George Sloan Productions and shows the basic steps in restoring the old corroded aluminum on a vintage Airstream travel trailer. George shows you how to remove the clear-coat, do the compound polishing to remove corrosion and surface defects, and how to use the random-orbit Cyclo polisher to produce a brilliant, swirl-free final finish. If you're planning on restoring a vintage trailer (or anything with old, corroded aluminum), watching this DVD is the best way to start. The DVD is professionally produced, and is both informative and entertaining. Run time is 17 minutes.
Polishing Aluminum Wheels
This DVD was produced by PerfectPolish to demonstrate the wheel polishing equipment and techniques that we offer. While the focus is on wheel polishing, the DVD also demonstrates a wide variety of polishing equipment not shown on the other two DVD's. This DVD, along with the other two, will give you a really good overview of all the equipment and techniques available to amateur polisher. It's basically a home video with a run time of 28 minutes. This DVD is also available separately for $5 on the Wheel Polishing Kits and Components page. The other two DVD's shown here are not available individually.
