How It Got Started

Tom Numelin owned a polished airplane (a 1946 Globe Swift) and the airport where he kept it (Schellville, near Sonoma, CA) has a lot of polished classic aircraft. There was a group of pilots who could be called polishing fanatics. And all of them learned to polish the hard way, by trying every product on the market and every technique suggested. Perfect Polish, established by Tom Numelin over 20 years has been supporting the restoration projects of classic aircraft, and aluminum bodied RV trailers ever since then.
